Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) PLC, established in January 2004, is the only specialized housing finance institution in the Maldives. HDFC is a privatized company with International Shareholders represented by the International Finance Corporation (IFC of World Bank Group), Asian Development Bank, and HDFC Bank Ltd. of India, jointly holding 51% of shares.

The Corporation is seeking a diligent and strategic administrative officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in achieving recovery objectives, reducing non-performing assets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Description

  • Deliver accurate and comprehensive information to customers regarding available financial products and assist in the completion and submission of application forms.
  • Assess the creditworthiness of clients by thoroughly analyzing their financial standing and evaluating their eligibility for financing facilities.
  • Prepare and present well-analyzed credit applications to the credit committee, providing detailed recommendations for a decision.
  • Address customer inquiries promptly and accurately, providing necessary information and clarifications to support their decision-making process.

Job Requirements

  • Qualification in Business Administration / Management (Diploma / Degree level).
  • Work experience in the banking and finance sector will be an added advantage.
  • Good analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Should be an effectual communicator verbally and through writing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Competent with General Office Software.

Salary

  • Salary ranging from MVR 11,000 to 13,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Working Hours

The selected candidate will be required to work from 08:00 to 16:00 hrs from Sunday – Thursday.
